that was actually warren! he was obsessed with passing 40k. the 1/2 didn't give us that many steps, but the combo of walking more than 3 miles to the race and then a bit more walking the rest of the day...he was so close to 40k that he walked to the gas station for a phone card when we got home. john and i just rolled our eyes...and stayed on the couch!;)
